Fulfillment Lab Production Team Leader

Key responsibilities
Manage incoming/outgoing order paperwork
Orders will generate a job sheet – this will be matched with the appropriate (finished) product and dispatched accordingly once produced inhouse.

Workflow Management
As there are various machines, capable of producing different products, a high level of organisation is required to make sure the production process is maintained. A keen eye for detail and an appreciation of minilab workflow is desired. A good working knowledge of using the ‘Microsoft Windows’ environment to perform day to day administration including stock inventory, order management, dealing with customer enquiries, and third-party suppliers.

Tasks include
– Management of print technicians
– Stock controller as setup is on consignment between the company & Fujifilm

– Customer/ Client & Supplier assistance
– Photo printing
– Personalisation printing
– Maintenance – Ensuring all machines are maintained and well kept, this will include daily start-up, operation, shutdown, regular cleaning, chemical maintenance
– Potential photo restoration
– Creating photo gifts
– Packaging customer orders
– Stock replenishment/ Ordering
– Various customers may migrate their fulfilment to the lab – high standards are therefore expected in order to meet the demand and match customer expectation, representing the Fujifilm brand.
Full training provided during induction & start of successful placement.

Produce products using Fujifilm (supplied) equipment- (Training provided)
Fujifilm 570– this is a silver halide based (chemical) process printer, producing high quality prints across various sizes.

Previous knowledge of minilab operation (wet process) is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given. A knowledge of photography would be good, as the equipment is based on the production of high-quality photographic prints.

Fujifilm LP-500 – this is a silver halide based (chemical) process printer, producing high quality prints across various sizes.

Epson SC-P8000 – An inkjet wide format printer, producing high quality posters across various sizes.

An appreciation of inkjet printing technology is desired, but not essential. A keen knowledge of the photographic process (image taking to print making) will assist in appreciating the capabilities offered by the equipment.
